PRESS RELEASE: Us together is launching Sound sex education, a scientifically grounded, age-appropriate curriculum designed to strengthen young people’s health, self-image and self-esteem.
The question of whether the extensive scope of sex education has contributed to declining educational outcomes was investigated. But did the criticism lead to any genuine reassessment of the extent and orientation of sex education – or is the course in practice already set?
Through dialogue and collaboration, parents and teachers can address school-related issues, build a safe learning environment, strengthen children’s self-esteem and, together, promote maturity, wellbeing and sound values.
Did you know that vitamin D affects everything from the skeleton to the immune system?
The body can produce the vitamin itself when the sun is shining, but during the darker months of the year sunlight is rarely sufficient. At that point, a vitamin D supplement may be exactly what the body needs.
A system of ideas based on the notion that children are sexual beings born with sexual needs is spreading all over the world. It is called Sexual and Reproductive Health and Rights (SRHR). Euphemistic language conceals how parental responsibility is watered down and how societal norms that protected children are eliminated.
Unbeknownst to the public, a new form of sex education is being introduced in elementary and middle schools. It assumes that children are sexual beings and that they must therefore be prepared from birth to reach their full sexual potential. The Swedish National Agency for Education wants to encourage children to become curious about and explore their sexuality and identity.
