The third part describes how we interpret reality with an internal map. If we do not understand each other's maps, we talk past each other and have difficulty reaching others. Mass influence can overcome a person's free will and judgment. When we understand how propaganda is structured, we can more easily detect when it is being used.
The second part gives us insight into how our mind works and with it better opportunities to reflect on how we ourselves and others react. It creates an inner security from which it becomes easier to act. We gain understanding of the thoughts of others and it leads us to a more constructive approach.
